Centerpiece and Gift Ideas

Party Tips

  • The 5 Minute Centerpiece--Pull out some of your crystal serving bowls or hurricane vases. Fill them up half way with fresh cranberries, and if you have them, push a few pine branches down the inside of the glass. Fill with water and float a few white candles in the water. Beautiful!

  • Last Minute Gift Ideas--I was looking for merchants for Theme Party Queen.com and found this great website called Gertrude Hawk Chocolates which sells products perfect for those hard-to-buy-for people on your list (neighbors, teachers, co-workers, admins, out-of-state relatives...).

Who wouldn't love getting some of the most delicious gourmet chocolates, which include dark chocolate, chocolate Smidgens©, caramel dipped apples, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered pretzels, fresh fudge, sugar-free candy and truffles?

I am considering buying some of their caramel apples for my Dad and my step Dad, both of whom live out of state. Easy, easy.

What's New

The holiday season is already here again and we have just finished updating our Christmas pages. You will find new holiday decorating ideas and great party recipes, including Mulled Pomegranate Sipper and Toffee Mandelscotti.

Also, check out our Holiday Party Music Selections including this great new CD called, "Mary did you know?"

Have you ever heard those songs where Natalie Cole sings with her Dad, Nat King Cole, even though he passed away years ago? Well, they did the same thing with Elvis. Priscilla contacted a select group of artists, including Winona Judd, Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride and asked them to sing duets with Elvis. The holiday songs are brilliant!

Until next time...I wish you and your family all the best during this holiday season.

Happy and safe partying,

Sandee Lembke
