Hello Again!

Sandee Lembke

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day was a lot of fun last month.
I had a few Irish cocktails and visited with some great friends. Even though they did not win the NCAA Basketball Championship,
I sure had fun watching my beloved Michigan State Spartans play their hearts out last weekend.

Now I'm looking forward to May and two of my favorite springtime partying opportunities: The Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo. Come on back to our site and check out our newly updated pages. Until next time...

Happy and safe partying!

Sandee Lembke

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo Dancer

Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) is celebrated to honor the culture and experience of those of Mexican descent.

Read the History of Cinco de Mayo and find party ideas and recipes including Cheddar Chipotle Dip and Margarita Ice Cream, one of the easiest recipes ever!

The Kentucky Derby

Kentucky Derby Horses

The 135th running of the Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday,
May 2, 2009.

Although the race itself is only a few minutes long, it has become one of the most beloved American springtime traditions mainly because of the atmosphere at Churchill Downs where it takes place.

Read about Silks and Hats and find some of our favorite party recipes including Kentucky Derby Pie, a rich, chocolately concoction and the must-try Mint Julep Cocktail.

What's New?

Well, we've been working on a lot of new pages having to do with making your own stuff. Your own wine, your own beer, your own invitations and even your own built in home bar. If you are looking for a new party-related project, maybe you can find inspiration here.
