Quilting Club - Ladies Weekend Away

There are a number of us, anywhere from 4 to 8, that will rent motel rooms somewhere close to a quilt shop, take everything we need to quilt, stay for 4 or 5 days and quilt all day and night. We may take a break and go shopping to the quilt shop of course.

We do this because our lives are so busy with family and work we never seem to have time to do the hobby that we so thoroughly enjoy and never seem to have the time to do it together.

It so much fun to work on projects and show them to each other as we complete each of the steps towards the finished product. We love it and we do it every July!!!!

This reminds me of a Scrapbooking Weekend I used to do with friends. For busy Moms, it's a great way to get some much deserved "ME" time. Thanks for contributing.
