Mimosa Recipe

This Mimosa recipe is a staple at brunch buffets. Our recipe is a little bit sweeter because of the addition of pineapple juice and cherries which complement the dry champagne nicely.

Ingredients - Makes 1 Gallon

  • 1-6 oz. can frozen orange juice
  • 1-48 oz. can unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 bottles (750 ml each) extra dry Champagne, chilled
  • Maraschino cherries

Mimosa Recipe

Prepare orange juice according to package directions. Combine with the pineapple juice in a large bowl and chill.

When ready to serve, pour in the Champagne. Serve in wineglasses with a cherry in the bottom of each.

NOTE: This Mimosa recipe can easily be doubled and served in a punch bowl. Substitute fresh raspberries or blackberries in place of the cherries when you want a change.

Homemade Lemonade

Another great recipe for brunch drinks is this one for homemade lemonade. I like this version because it has cranberry juice in it so it feels a little bit more elegant to me, suitable for a brunch buffet or other special occasion.

  • 1-1/2 to 2 cups sugar
  • 9 cups water
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen lemon juice
  • 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
  • Mint leaves & citrus slices for garnish

In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with mint leaves and citrus slices. Beautiful to look at and tasty!

Makes 12-1 cup servings of homemade lemonade.
