Cheesy Party Potatoes
Grandma Perry's Recipe

• 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
• 1 stick melted margarine (butter separates)
• 1 cup finely chopped onion
• 16 oz. sour cream
• 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
• 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• Potato chips, crushed

My mom used to make these party potatoes for family gatherings. They go especially well with Kahlua Baked Ham and Warm Cinnamon Applesauce.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

Top with potato chips and bake for 1 hour.
